🥉 BRONZE AT ONMK DRACHTEN (May 8-11)!

Last week, time stood still for a moment. As I touched the wall and looked up at the scoreboard, 30+ years of dreaming crystallized into reality: 3rd place, 200m breaststroke at the Open National Masters Championship in Drachten, The Netherlands. My first individual medal since 1993. This journey hasn't been straight. A wrist surgery last year nearly derailed everything, but persistence won out. This bronze medal isn't the destination but confirmation that comebacks are possible at any age – that dedicated work truly pays off.
